Alrighty time to get serious
May 5th, 2007
College is done for me until Fall 2007 semester, I have all summer to get serious in investing.
Lately I’ve been taking some bicycle rides (need to get in shape after the Freshman 15 which is so true) and been listening to Jim Cramer’s Mad Money audiobook. I never had realized that it was exactly like Steven Colbert had put it in his interview with Jim Cramer that it’s book dedicated on how to watch his [Jim Cramer’s] TV show. I feel it’s a good book but not all of it applies to my personal trading strategy.
One of the thing’s I didn’t like so far was buying in increments, 4 usually. That’s $20 in fee’s, then another $20 to sell it. $40 is a big chunk of profits especially at my magnitude of investment.
Also I picked up a book to learn more about stock valuation and learning how to researching stocks. It’s called “Accounting Demystified“.
I got lots to get through this summer.
